Sensory Spotlight: Kirkhallam Community Centre

Kirk Hallam Community Centre in Ilkeston, Derbyshire

In the weeks leading up to celebrating our 20 years in business,  we’re selecting 8 charities / organisations within the Ilkeston and Derbyshire area to receive a cash donation. Each of these wonderful groups offer various services, resources, support and more to the local community and we’re excited to share them with you all.

In addition to our donation, across the next few weeks we’ll be featuring a sensory spotlight on each individually so you can learn more about these fantastic organisations, the services they provide, how they plan on using their donation, and how you can also help to support.

Sensory equipment is an essential investment for creating calming and stimulating environments, whether in schools, healthcare settings, or at home. …

Last year, we had the pleasure of working with Enfield Town Library to create a brand-new sensory zone within their children's area. Fast forward to August 2023, we were invited to the grand opening of the space with the wonderful staff from the library, members of Enfield Council and of course lots of little ones ready to explore the new space.
