All our protective padding and mats are made to order. Custom designed to fit the architectural features of your room. Floor and Wall Padding can be designed to fit around pipework, structural beams, covering window sills and other items that may cause injury. We are able to provide protection to doors, windows and radiators. Cutouts for sockets, switches and valve controls provided as deemed necessary.

Our Wall and Floor Pads can be used in specialist de-escalations rooms. These rooms can also incorporate a wide range of Sensory Equipment to aid in calming. We call these Sensory Serenity Rooms and are a great asset for users with autism, SEBD and EBD.

Case Studies
Acorn Lodge is a Children's Home based in Leeds, committed to providing children with an environment that nurtures children with complex needs. As part of a long-term plan to improve facilities. the team were asked to design, manufacture and install a brand-new sensory room for the residents at the home.
In December 2022, Sensory Technology was approached by East Ayrshire H&SCP to design and install a multisensory environment. This need for this new sensory project was identified by a local self-funded charity called Ayrshire Am-asn Warriors Activity Group, who provide support to children with ASN within East Ayrshire.
The Fen Rivers Academy provides specialist therapeutic education to pupils with SEMH. We were asked to turn a double space within the school into both a calming and active area to help channel the children’s emotions, providing a resource where they can refocus and enhance their mental health.

Southend Care, Viking Unit, is a specialist care provider for adults with very complex needs. Their services range widely from day care to residential and supported living. We were asked to create a unique, one off, sensory environment for his clients that took into account their complex and varied needs.
In 2022, we designed, manufactured and installed a Sensory Room for Antur Waunfawr - a leading social enterprise based in Wales who provide work and training for individuals with learning disabilities.
