Earlier this year we had the honour of working with Winchelsea Primary School to create two brand-new sensory spaces – an Immersive Room and Sensory Garden. For this week’s Sensory Blog, join us as we attend the grand opening of the new spaces and some insights in to both of these wonderful new resources for Winchelsea Primary School.
Last year, we had the pleasure of working with Enfield Town Library to create a brand-new sensory zone within their children's area. Fast forward to August 2023, we were invited to the grand opening of the space with the wonderful staff from the library, members of Enfield Council and of course lots of little ones ready to explore the new space.
Calming Sensory Rooms are spaces designed to induce a state of calm, through the incorporation of sensory elements. These environments act as a quieter recluse to help users to regulate their emotions and achieve a higher level of productivity.
